A warm Omani welcome
Warm welcome, hospitability and openness is something the Omanis are very well known for specially when extending their regards towards the expats. Arabic being the official language used but English is also spoken widely in the city which makes the daily commutation, interaction very effortless amongst the expats. The traditional values of Middle Eastern countries is very well blended with global exposure in Muscat, Oman which can very well be experienced on a day to day life in Muscat. The traditional Omani attire is a common sight to witness while in Oman but a huge global cultural diversification can be seen in their music, food, art and attire over the time. Overall a peaceful country with emphasis on strong social decorum and a laid back lifestyle on a slower pace which can give a different outlook to people who are accustomed to a busy lifestyle.
Omanis are ardent follower of Bollywood movies and songs and takes immense pride to showcase their love towards Bollywood stardom. To witness an Omani family camping under a tree or in a garden or anywhere with a scenic backdrop is a common sight as they are very nature loving. Almost every citizen carries a tent and other camping gears and equipment in their car and wherever they feel like relaxing they set a camp amidst nature.
